Our Story
People say, “like attracts like,” but honestly, we were never the same kind of people.
I don’t even remember how we went from classmates to friends. After graduation, we each took off in different career directions, but somehow, we always managed to find time to catch up a few times a year.
Over time, we started to notice something—Things that most people saw as normal felt weird to us. And the things we thought were just common sense seemed out of the box to everyone else.
We started asking questions—
Why do some people work 9 AM to midnight at a job they hate, yet never think about quitting or changing careers?
Why do people still believe life has some kind of deadline, like you have to accomplish certain things by a certain age to be considered “on track”?
Why, in 2023, do racism, sexism, homophobia, ageism—hatred toward women, men, the elderly, the younger generation—still exist?
Why does it feel like there are so few genuinely happy people in the world, yet so many who are angry, bitter, and stuck in their own heads?
"This world is built on absurdity."
Life should be full of possibilities and choices, but there are just too many invisible boxes trapping people inside.
The truth is, back then, we weren’t exactly happy either.
The work we were doing wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t fulfilling.
It wasn’t ours. We were just helping other people realize their dreams—meeting client demands, checking off tasks, getting through the day.
We wanted to create something of our own.
Something we truly believed in.
So, in the summer of 2023, we finally decided to do something about it.
We threw around ideas—history, society, love, art, education—put everything on the table, only to realize that even between the two of us, our perspectives were both so close yet so different.
Finding something we both truly wanted to pursue?
Way harder than we thought.
In the end, just in time for Christmas Eve, we launched our first project: We.re.remember.
We met so many so-called ordinary strangers, only to hear life stories that were anything but boring. And in the process, we rediscovered the joy of storytelling—of listening, of sharing.
From there, we spent over half a year experimenting—trying different documentary styles, exploring ways to express ideas through art, writing proposals, and applying for funding. Eventually, all of that led us to starting this company.
Even now, our core values aren’t exactly the same.
But somehow, this platform has become a space where both of our dreams can take shape.
That feeling of going on our own separate journeys, only to team up again for a new adventure?
Yeah. That’s pretty awesome.
