Caregiving is both a Responsibility
and an Act of Love.

Why do some people dedicate themselves to caring for others without expecting anything in return?

At its core, caregiving is not just about ensuring someone survives—

it is about cherishing every moment with them, embracing the time spent together, and fostering deeper human connections.

A Story of Caregivers’ Families -

Caregiver Family Storytelling Project
(SIE Fund-Supported Initiative)

This project seeks to enhance family bonds by hosting “Life As It Is” family interviews and portrait sessions for 30 families, alongside producing six documentary films under “A Story of Caregivers’ Families,” featuring low-income caregiving households.

Through film documentation, in-depth interviews, and expressive arts, participating families will have the opportunity to communicate emotions beyond words, improve interpersonal communication, and foster mutual care and support among caregivers, care recipients, and other family members. The project aims to alleviate caregiver stress and enhance the quality of care provided.

In addition to online screenings of these documentaries, the project will organize three community screenings and discussions, providing the public with deeper insight into the lives of caregivers while encouraging greater community support.

January 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026
