Film Screening and Education Programme
Let a film screening be the beginning of a conversation.
"By Your Side Until Dusk" Documentary Screening × The Mystery Birthday Party
Conceived and produced by A Story Of, the documentary By Your Side Until Dusk was completed in 2026.
Building on the film, we created an education programme that brings together a documentary screening and an expressive arts experience. Designed for schools, community groups and organisations, the programme offers a thoughtful and compassionate space for people to face the realities of ageing and speak more openly about family relationships.
Because even an ordinary day is worth celebrating.
Every group and community is different. We would be pleased to design a programme around your participants, setting and learning objectives.
Please get in touch to discuss your needs and request a quotation.

About the Documentary
Four Hong Kong families come to a sudden realisation: someone they love has grown old.
Illness and decline arrive without warning.
Some laugh in the face of fear;
Some learn to let go and make peace with what is;
Some finally speak the love they have carried in silence;
And some hold fast to one another, walking the ordinary days into something deeper, fuller and more enduring.
From the hardship of caring, tenderness grows.
However many days remain, may I be there beside you, all the way to dusk.

✔Restoring Dignity and Agency
Support older people as they navigate ageing and illness, enabling them to reconnect with their dignity, voice and sense of agency.
✔Building More Caring Communities
Create a safe and open space where people at different stages of life can learn how to listen, respond and be there for one another with care.
